European Fashion: Often Imitated but Never Duplicated

The United States has always been admired for it’s melting pot demeanor. Many people from different backgrounds have planted their roots and made the United States what it is today. Although it’s a place other countries consider advanced, European influence gave a few tips on the fashion aspect. European fashion has heavily influenced the United States primarily because it originated certain trends prior to the U.S. ¬†Americans often form stereotypes when they do not understand the concept behind something. For example, Americans had the perception that European trousers that fit your body type was a negative component. However, in Europe, it is considered the norm for your trousers to fit you specifically and have proper alignment. European fashion doesn’t agree with the “one size fits all” mindset. A perception the United States, as well as other countries strive to inherit.Americans have a good appreciation for comfort level when shopping at the department stores. One thing that can never be debated is that you get what you pay for. Imitating and duplicating European fashion with department store clothing is unrealistic to say the least.
